Sturgeon Bay Library Display

June 2 @ 9:00 am - June 30 @ 5:00 pm

Celebrate Pride Month with a visit to the Sturgeon Bay Public Library, where a dedicated display will highlight LGBTQIA+ stories, authors, and history throughout the month of June. While you’re there, check out a book featuring LGBTQ themes or written by LGBTQ authors—reading is resistance, representation, and celebration all in one.

We also encourage you to support our incredible local bookstores here in Sturgeon Bay:

Novel Bay Booksellers – A proud sponsor of Open Door Pride, Novel Bay is known for their thoughtful June window displays, featuring Pride-themed books and lists of frequently banned titles.

OtherWorlds Books & More – Another welcoming and inclusive space where you’ll find stories that reflect diverse identities and experiences.

Now more than ever, it’s vital to support our public libraries, the librarians who serve our communities, and the local bookstores that make diverse storytelling accessible. These are the places where history is preserved, voices are uplifted, and everyone can find a story that feels like home.
