We envision a future in which all LGBTQIA+ people can live safely and openly as their whole selves in Door County.
Our team of volunteers works hard to expand and deepen the level of engagement among all LGBTQIA+ people and allies, including people who are economically, racially, socially, geographically, or politically disenfranchised.
Open Door Pride was founded in 2017 with the goal of creating an environment in which LGBTQIA+ residents and visitors of Door County felt safe and welcome.
Since our inception, we have implemented several community initiatives, gifted multiple annual awards, and have established Open Door Pride Fest as a must attend event in Door County.
Our Board of Directors consists entirely of volunteers who are passionate about the LGBTQIA+ community and about making our mission a reality.

Open Door Pride’s events and activities aim to reduce prejudiced, discriminatory, and other unsafe environments for LGBTQIA+ people throughout Door County.
We partner with businesses and organizations throughout Door County that offer resources and welcoming space to LGBTQIA+ community members.
