History of the Open Door Pride Festival
June is Nationally and Internationally known as Pride Month.
2021 Pride was virtual: watch the festival here
2020 was “canceled” although we had a small socially distanced ceremony. With Pride flags throughout Martin Park, we read the proclamation and we gave our annual Sandy Brown award to Third Avenue Playhouse. Black Lives Matter Door County (BLM DC) stood with us in support of LGBTQ and pride.
2019 Martin Park 3rd annual, had a wonderful turn out. It was the first year we had a beer/wine tent and ODP merchandise
2018 Martin Park – 2nd annual picnic with more involvement from the community; informing us we were on the right track.
2017 Our first Open Door Pride was held in Martin Park Sturgeon Bay, it was a picnic
