DESCRIPTION:Open Door Pride will have a weekly presence at the Destination Sturgeon Bay Farmers & Crafts Market every Saturday from June 7 through October 11\, between 8:00 AM and 12:00 PM. Our tent will be located on 3rd Avenue\, closest to Oregon Street and Martin Park. \nEach week\, we’ll be presenting our mission and sharing the positive impact we’re making within Door County and beyond for the LGBTQIA+ community. Visitors can stop by to connect with our team\, shop Pride flags\, ODP merchandise\, and Safe Space buttons\, and learn more about how to get involved. \nWe’re actively seeking volunteers to help staff the booth—whether you can give an hour or two\, your support makes a difference! We also welcome other nonprofit organizations to co-host the tent with us in exchange for volunteer support. (Please note: as a non-partisan organization\, we do not partner with politically affiliated groups.) \nJoin us for a season of community\, visibility\, and Pride—right in the heart of downtown Sturgeon Bay.

DESCRIPTION:The What’s My Pride? Project returns to Articipation Gallery for the entire month of June\, featuring 20 striking images selected through a community nomination process. SUMMARY:Open Door Pride Tent at Sturgeon Bay Farmers Market
DESCRIPTION:Open Door Pride will have a weekly presence at the Destination Sturgeon Bay Farmers & Crafts Market every Saturday from June 7 through October 11\, between 8:00 AM and 12:00 PM. Our tent will be located on 3rd Avenue\, closest to Oregon Street and Martin Park. \nEach week\, we’ll be presenting our mission and sharing the positive impact we’re making within Door County and beyond for the LGBTQIA+ community. Visitors can stop by to connect with our team\, shop Pride flags\, ODP merchandise\, and Safe Space buttons\, and learn more about how to get involved. \nWe’re actively seeking volunteers to help staff the booth—whether you can give an hour or two\, your support makes a difference! We also welcome other nonprofit organizations to co-host the tent with us in exchange for volunteer support. (Please note: as a non-partisan organization\, we do not partner with politically affiliated groups.) \nJoin us for a season of community\, visibility\, and Pride—right in the heart of downtown Sturgeon Bay.

SUMMARY:“Seek To Understand” a Panel Community Conversation
DESCRIPTION:Open Door Pride invites you to Seek to Understand\, a free community conversation taking place on Thursday\, June 19\, at 6:30 PM at the Baileys Harbor Town Hall. This immersive event is designed to educate and equip residents\, business owners\, and allies across Door County with the tools to better respond to today’s social and political climate. \nThe evening will explore four vital issues impacting our community through short presentations followed by Q&A. Topics include: \n– The Black experience in Door County \n– The trans experience and trans education \n– How to be an effective advocate and ally for the LGBTQIA+ community \n– Education on rights and protocols related to current immigration laws and ICE enforcement \nEach section will run 20–30 minutes total\, with a 10–15 minute presentation followed by time for open dialogue. Presenters are local leaders and educators\, making this event especially relevant and accessible for the Door County community. \nOur goal is to foster a welcoming environment where even those who don’t typically attend these conversations feel encouraged to listen\, learn\, and engage. This is your chance to be part of something meaningful—one conversation can spark a deeper understanding.
